Joan As Police Woman udgav sidste år sit nye album Lemons, Limes & Orchids – det første siden Tony Allen/Dave Okumu-samarbejdet The Solution Is Restless, som høstede stor anerkendelse fra blandt andre The Guardian, NPR, Stereogum, Thom Yorke og Nick Cave for sin sprudlende blanding af afrobeat, jazz, trip-hop og funk.

På det nye album samarbejder Joan As Police Woman igen med et væld af markante navne, heriblandt GRAMMY-vinder Meshell Ndegeocello på bas, Chris Bruce (Seal, Trevor Horn, Alanis Morissette) på guitar, Daniel Mintseris (St. Vincent, David Byrne, Elvis Costello & The Imposters) på keys samt Parker Kindred (Jeff Buckley, Liam Gallagher) og Otto Hauser, der skiftes til at spille trommer.

Lemons, Limes & Orchids er Joan As Police Womans 10. album. Gennem årene har hun arbejdet sammen med Lou Reed, Rufus Wainwright, Damon Albarn, John Cale, Laurie Anderson, Sufjan Stevens, Anohni, Beck og Iggy Pop.

Den 2. august indtager New York-sangskriveren Hotel Cecil, hvor hun senest spillede i 2018.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
